Design and Delivery of Instruction
Instructional Design
In a nutshell, instructional design is systematically planning and
designing learning. When done well, it is a process that starts with
analysis of learning needs and goals and ends with a product (a
course) that meets individual and organizational learning needs.
LearnSmith can design instruction in fully face-to-face and fully
online environments, or environments that are the best of both -
a hybrid.
Learning
Facilitation
The core goal of facilitation is creation of learning environments and
activities that promote objectives of mutual benefit
to individuals and the organization. Learning interventions
offered by LearnSmith apply learning theories and best practices to
engage learners in active and authentic learning experiences.
Evaluation
LearnSmith employs
evaluation to improve learning, the learning experience, and
achievement of individual and organizational goals. Evaluation
of
learning through effective measurement informs strategies for
continuous improvement of the design and delivery of instruction as
well as derived return on investment.
